Bad Behavior Starts Valentine's Day: LFP Police Blotter
The following incidents are selected from Lake Forest Park Police logs for Feb 11-14. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
Monday, Feb. 11
Harrassment, scam: A Lake Forest Park resident reported to police that she had been receiving harassing phone calls from someont with a foreign accent for several weeks. He was trying to get money from her ina possible wire scame, and on Monday, feb. 11 he threatened to come and kill her, her husband, and her kids. He ahd her address also.
Theft: Somone stole turf squares and a soccer net from the school at 18500 37th Ave NE.

Stolen car recovered: Lake Forest Police found a car that had been stolen out of Edmonds at the intersection of 48th Ave NE and NE 187th Pl. The car was parkedon the shoulder of the road and had both its plates, but the stereo was missing.
Thursday, Feb. 14
Valentine’s Day Dance goes bad: Police were called to a bar at 14558 Bothell Way NE at about 1;30 a.m. when a drunk 22-year-old customer harassed a dancer and claimed that someone stole $1,000 from him. The dancer stopped the dance and the man went outside, where he spit on a bouncer who confronted him about his behavior. Employees restrained the man until police arrived. They issued him a trespass warning letter and the man left, but said he didn’t understand why he had to leave.
Taggers: Police were called to several reports of tagging, including one in the 16900 block of 28th Ave NE another on the 3000 block of NE 166th street.
