Arrest Made in Hit-And-Run Death of Shoreline Bicyclist
Suspect was arrested in the hit-and-run death of Michael Wang.
Nearly a year after the , Seattle police made an arrest, KOMO reported.
The suspect, Erlin Garcia-Reyes, 28, of Normandy Park, was interviewed by detectives Wednesday evening, and booked into King County Jail.
Paul McDonagh, the SPD Assistant Chief, said investigators had been working to identify a suspect, since the collision occurred at Dexter Avenue North and North Thomas Street on June 28 of last year.
Wang, who is survived by a his wife and children, was biking home to Shoreline from his job at global health nonprofit PATH in downtown Seattle when he was struck.
