A person fired a round into the ceiling at Ballinger Commons, 19800 Bagley Ave. N., on July 26 because he didn’t think the gun was loaded. No one was hurt. Here are other incidents Shoreline Police responded to recently.

DUI: A driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI after being stopped in the 19600 block of 15th Ave. N.E. for having a headlight out.
THEFT: Unknown thief/thieves stole parts from a vehicle parked in the 200 block of N.E. 180th St. Access was gained by popping out the driver’s window.

DRUG OVERDOSE: A drug overdose was reported at the Rodeway Inn, 14817 Aurora Ave. N.
AUTO THEFT: A vehicle was stolen from the Ballinger Commons, 19800 Bagley Ave. N.

VANDALISM: A rock was thrown through a window in a portable building at Kellogg Middle School, 16045 25th Ave. N.E.
July 27
ROBBERY: A robbery with a handgun was reported outside a residence in the 100 block of N.E. 165th Place.
July 28
BOMBING: Mailboxes were bombed in the 20300 block of Dayton Ave. with an unknown explosive device.
ASSAULT: A subject reported being assaulted while he slept behind Nora Restaurant, 15033 Aurora Ave. N.
