Community Corner

Volunteer Locally in Your Community!

Residents in Shoreline need your assistance with general housekeeping and grocery shopping! All are elderly and/or adults with disabilities. Your assistance a few hours, every other week could make all the difference in the world to these folks. If you're interested please contact Belina at Volunteer Chore Services, 206-328-6849 or Cindy, Intake Specialist at 206-328-5787.

Volunteer Chore Services (VCS), a program of Catholic Community Services, helps low income elders and adults with disabilities remain in their own homes with a little assistance from caring community members, such as yourself. VCS serves individuals regardless of race, religion, ethnic background or sexual orientation. We are the "safety net" for those who do not qualify for state chore assistance and cannot afford to pay for these services.

Thank you for your consideration!

Due to the vulnerable nature of our clients, volunteer must complete an application, pass a Washington State background check and attend an orientation.
