City Council to discuss Ronald Wastewater after the election

The City Council added a discussion item yesterday to their agenda for November 25 (AFTER the election!): Utility Work Plan Update – Ronald Waste Water and Seattle Public Utilities.

All things Ronald need to be discussed NOW, before the election. At stake are the best interests of the Ronald ratepayers and voters. We have a right to be informed, so that we may maintain control of the instruments of government we have created.

The 32nd Legislative Democrats recognized the timeliness of the Ronald Assumption question. They chose to hold their forum On October 9, BEFORE the election, though there is no assumption measure on the November ballot. 2 Ronald Commissioner positions ARE on the ballot, and the planned Ronald assumption by the City is germane.

The City of Shoreline, in contrast, has chosen to wait until AFTER (just after, actually)the election to discuss their plans for Ronald.

The people need their City Council to have that discussion NOW.

It is time to reopen Shoreline!
