Forty Percent Chance of Snow Before 10 p.m. Tonight, 30 Percent Chance Thurs.

About three inches of snow fell in Shoreline in 30 hours ending at 1 p.m. Wednesday

Here's the National Weather Service forecast for Shoreline and Lake Forest Park for the next few days. 

Tonight: A 40 percent chance of snow before 10pm. Cloudy, with a temperature rising to around 32 by 2 a.m. Northwest wind between 12 and 15 mph becoming calm. Total nighttime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible. 

Thursday: A 30 percent chance of snow. Cloudy, with a high near 36. North northwest wind between 3 and 9 mph. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible. 

Thursday Night: Snow likely, mainly after 4am. Cloudy, with a temperature rising to around 39 by 4am. North northwest wind between 7 and 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible. 

Friday: Rain and snow likely, becoming all rain after 10am. Snow level 600 feet rising to 4300 feet. Cloudy, with a high near 43. South southeast wind between 5 and 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. Little or no snow accumulation expected. 

Friday Night: Rain. Low around 40. South southeast wind around 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%.

Saturday: Rain. High near 44. Chance of precipitation is 100%.

Saturday Night: Rain. Low around 37. Chance of precipitation is 80%.
