The weekend is a great time to check out area open houses.
Few things in life offer more excitement wrapped in fear than hunting for a new house.
Is it location? Is it price? Condition?
Sure you can always rip out the stained fuschia carpet or spend a few weeks scraping "vintage" wallpaper from 1964, but depending on what type of person you are, that can sound exciting, awesomely frugal or just plain awful.
