KNOW A TEEN IN NEED? LEAN TO TEEN LINK!

Teen Link, “Talk it Out” and Things Will Get Better.

Teen Link talks it out at the Operation Outreach DECA trade show that will be held 10:30am - 3:00pm on January 16th & 17th at King’s High School’s 5th annual trade show. This event takes place on the corner of 195th and Greenwood Ave. N. in Shoreline.

Teen Link is a confidential, anonymous, and non-judgmental help line answered for teens from 6-10pm, 365 days a year. No issue is too big or too small, teen volunteers are trained to listen to a caller’s concerns and talk to them about whatever is on their mind.

This DECA event is extended over two days due to the previous popularity. Students creatively design trade show booths by working closely with entrepreneurs including signage, sampling of products, and live demonstrations. Nearly 60 local businesses enthusiastically participate each year.

This is King’s High School’s first time getting to do an all non-profit trade show, all King’s High School students are very excited to promote their companies and are looking forward to hosting this event!

Alison Mittelstaedt, Senior, has worked closely with Teen Link to promote their business and this exciting event. This trade show is a unique learning experience for students with an interest in marketing careers and future college opportunities.

Teen Link is a confidential and accessible place teens can call to talk about what's concerning them, helping youth explore their options and make healthy choices.  For more information visit 866teenlink.org
