Seven cities in Washington recently banned single use plastic bags and now the City of Shoreline is considering its own bag. In order to spread awareness about the reason for passing plastic bag bans, The Worldy Philosophers and Dismal Scientists Society will be holding a screening and discussion of the movie “Bagit” this Thursday, January 31st at 7:00pm in PUB 9208. Refreshments will be provided, but remember your reusable mug! Free bags tote will be given to the first 20 people in attendance.
