Winter Storm Warning in Effect
Shoreline, LFP could get up to 3 inches of snow tonight as storm moves in
The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning tonight for Western Washington, including the Seattle area. Expect up to 1-3 inches of snow.
The Shoreline School District is on mid-winter break so there is no school anyway. Shoreline Community College will not hold evening activities tonight in anticipation of the snow.

Late Afternoon: Snow showers. High near 36. North wind around 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.
Tonight: Snow showers. Low around 27. Light wind becoming west southwest between 10 and 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.
Thursday: Snow showers likely, mainly before 10am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 32. North northwest wind 5 to 8 mph increasing to between 13 and 16 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
Thursday Night: A 30 percent chance of snow showers before 10pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 17. North northwest wind around 16 mph. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 28. North northeast wind between 5 and 8 mph.
Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 20.
Saturday: Partly sunny, with a high near 36.
