Shorewood Grad Performs on X Factor

Peet Montzingo gets a thumbs down for his singing but is encouraged to continue in his quest to a famous entertainer

The show aired Wednesday night on Fox.

Peet said his goal was to be teen heartthrob.

"I love that," said the notoriously difficult to please judge Simon Cowell.

"You fascinate me, I like ambitious and talented people—but you're one right now," he said after Montzingo took a stab at his own rendition of Bruno Mars, "Billionaire."
