Some things the police encountered in Shoreline

The following blotter items came from Shoreline Police reports from March 25 to April 4:

 March 25

 RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT: A male person in the 1200 block of N.E. 168th St. was cited for reckless endangerment after he fired a 12-gauge shotgun in his backyard. He was also booked on a warrant for driving while intoxicated out of Seattle.

 March 28

 MARIJUANA: Someone was caught driving a vehicle with marijuana and pipes to smoke it with at N. 160th St. and Midvale Ave.

 VANDALISM: Someone spray painted obscenities and drawings onto Shorewood High School with black spray paint.

 BURGLARY: Someone broke a rear window and entered a house in the 1500 block of N.E. 196th St. opening numerous drawers and disturbing contents.

 March 29

 LARCENY, LESS THAN $250: Someone stole cigars from Chevron at 20010 Ballinger Way N.

 AUTO THEFT: Someone stole a 1997 Honda Accord that was locked from the 1700 block of Wayne Ave. N.

 AUTO THEFT: Someone stole a blue 1988 Honda Civic from the Forest Creek Condominiums  in the 19000 block of 15th Ave. N.E.

 March 30

 THREATS: A male person got into a fight with his cousin in the 3200 block of N.E. 149th St. and threatened to stab him with a knife.

 AUTO THEFT: Someone stole a blue 1990 Ford F250 pickup from the 1000 block of N. 200th St.

 VANDALISM: Somone vandalized a vehicle with dark blue marker pen while it was parked in the 1700 block of 10th Ave. N.E. The suspect wrote various swear words on the back window and also vandalized a Barack Obama sticker by putting devil horns on his likeness.

 March 31

BURGLARY: Somone broke a window with a large rock and stole items from inside the Baristas coffee stand in the 1600 block of Aurora Ave. N.

LARCENY, LESS THAN $250: A female person was arrested at Central Market after she was caught stealing food, beer and makeup.

April 1

 DISORDERLY CONDUCT: A neighbor came over uninvited to a home in the 19200 block of 16th Ave. N.E. and started yelling at a woman and her husband who live there accusing their dog of killing her cat.

 TRESPASS:  A drunk man walked into 7-11 at 16920 15th Ave. N.E. and ate a banana and a hot dog and walked out of the store without paying. He was trespassed in writing from the store.

 BURGLARY: Someone kicked in a door of a home in the 1500 Linden Ave. N. and ransacked it.

 ASSAULT, FOURTH DEGREE: A father punched his adult son in the face at the Echo Cove Apartments in the 19400 block of Aurora Ave. N. and was booked into jail.

 April 2

 BURGLARY: Someone shattered a window on the east side of Thai Bistro, 18300 Aurora Ave. N. with large rocks and an entry by suspect(s) was possibly made.

 AUTO THEFT: A locked BMW was stolen from the 2500 block of N.E. 195th St.

 April 3

 LARCENY, MORE THAN $250: Someone smashed out the rear passenger side door window of a vehicle and took items in the 16000 block of Interlake Ave. N.

 VANDALISM: Someone spray painted “KURSY” on the cement wall and fences behind the Prince of Peace Church at N.E. 145th St. and 20th Ave. N.E.

 ASSAULT, FOURTH DEGREE: A suspect pushed a person who confronted him or her in the donation alley at Goodwill, 14500 15th Ave. N.E., after they took things from the donation pile.

 April 4

 VANDALISM: Someone spray painted the walls and handball courts at Ridgecrest Park.

 BURGLARY: Someone took electric fire place inserts from a three-story house under construction in the 19000 block of Ninth Place N.W.
