UPDATE: Power Restored to Almost All in Shoreline and Lake Forest Park

Seattle City Light reported an outage Sunday evening affecting 1,654 customers in Shoreline, Lake Forest Park and Kenmore. A downed tree is the likely cause.

UPDATE, 7:50 p.m. Nov. 18: Seattle City Light is reporting that it has restored power to almost all of the 1,655 customers that lost power Sunday evening. City Light posted on Twitter, "Power Back On in Lake Forest Park" at 7:40 p.m. It's System Status web page reported shortly afterward that power remained out for only 171 customers. The apparent cause was a tree down on power lines.

Seattle City Light is reporting a power outage to 1,655 customers in the Shoreline, Lake Forest Park and Kenmore areas, with the likely cause being a tree down.

Crews are investigating, and the City Light web pages indicate the power went out at 4:52 p.m., with an estimated time of restoration at 1:33 a.m. Check here for updates from City Light.

City Light posted on Twitter at about 6:30 that power had been partially restored.
