Snow showers predicted as temperatures dip into low 30s

The National Weather Service is predicting snow showers in Shoreline and Lake Forest Park Saturday night. See below for the weekend's forecast. 

Tonight: Showers after 4am. Low around 35. Calm wind. Chance of precipitation is 80%.

Saturday: Rain showers before 10am, then rain and snow showers likely. Snow level 3300 feet lowering to 1100 feet. High near 40. South southwest wind between 8 and 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Little or no snow accumulation expected. 

Saturday Night: A 40 percent chance of snow showers. Cloudy, with a low around 31. Southwest wind between 5 and 9 mph. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible. 

Sunday: A 50 percent chance of snow showers. Cloudy, with a high near 36. South wind between 7 and 11 mph. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible. 

Sunday Night: A 40 percent chance of snow showers. Cloudy, with a low around 29. Light and variable wind. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible. 

M.L.King Day: A 50 percent chance of snow showers. Cloudy, with a high near 36. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible. 

Monday Night: A 50 percent chance of snow showers. Cloudy, with a low around 30. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
