It's Time to Fall Back, Sunday, Nov. 4 at 2 a.m.

Clocks go back an hour to standard time at 2 a.m. Sunday morning

On Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012 at 2 a.m. Pacific Time it will be time for everyone on the West Coast to set their clocks back one hour to 1 a.m. in order to "fall back" as Daylight Savings Time comes to an end for 2012 and we return to standard time.

The reason for daylight savings 2012, like all daylight savings changes, is to increase the period of light during the afternoon while decreasing the hours of daylight in the mornings.

The clocks sprung forward on Sunday, March 11, 2012 by one hour.
