I'll Take a Tall McSteamy, With Whip

Actor Patrick Dempsey says he wants to buy Tully's, which has a shop inside Top Food and Drug in Shoreline.

Actor Patrick Dempsey, best know for his role as Dr. Derick Shepherd—aka "McDreamy" on ABC's Seattle-based "Grey's Anatomy"—wants to rescue Tully's and save more than 500 jobs.

The Daily News reports that a sale would have to be approved by a judge. A bankruptcy court hearing is set for Jan. 11 in Seattle.

Tully's, based in Seattle, has coffee shops in Washington and California. It also has numerous shops inside supermarkets, including at TOP Food and Drug in Shoreline.
