Great Escape: Wine Tasting in Edmonds, Shoreline

Arista Wine Cellars and North City Bistro & Wine Shop, both popular with residents and visitors, are offering specials today.

Your teens are holding a car wash at the high school on Saturday. The grandparents volunteered to take the younger children to a movie Sunday afternoon. Your tweens take tap on Thursday evening. It’s your time. Take it.

Each week, we’ll tell you about one great idea to give you a much deserved break, and make your life a little easier. Maybe a whole lot easier.

Today we bring you two offers from wine shops in Edmonds and Shoreline. At  in Edmonds, you can sample wine from Rolling Bay Winery in Bainbridge Island as part of Arista’s participation in the  downtown. The event is a favorite with the community as well as visitors from around the state, bringing more than 500 admirers of art to Edmonds.

Arista, which stocks a number of wines and wine accessories, was founded in 1997 by Ruth and David Arista and features a wine club where members save 10 percent on purchases and are invited to members-only events.

Arista Wine Cellars is at 320 Fifth Ave. South, Edmonds. For more information, call 425-771-7009 or go online to aristawines.com
