  • Where/When: 9:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. Sun, Oct 2 at  in Shoreline.
  • Why Go: They Shall Walk is a medical research organization founded to raise awareness of the plight of disabled persons and develop technology to improve their quality of life. Help support their cause this Sunday by attending the Trade Fair and Classic Car show. Watch the classic rides cruise up and down Aurora Avenue, then get a closer look inside the Sears Plaza. After you've seen the car show, be sure to check out the booths set up along the sidewalks around Sears.

  • Where/When: 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday at .
  • Why Go: Check out the newest production to come out of Shoreline Community College's Drama department this weekend. Almost Maine is a comedy that's sure to have you laughing throughout the night. The production runs through Sat, October 8th. So even if you can't make it on the opening weekend, you'll still have time to catch the show.
  • Cost: Tickets range from $4 - $8.

 

 

 

  • Where/When: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Saturday at Shoreline Park and Ride (Aurora Avenue North and 192nd Street).
  • Why Go: If your household recently went through a cleaning marathon, this event might be just what you need to finally get the junk out the door. Load up all the items that the garbage haulers wouldn't take away and bring it to Shoreline Park and Ride for a safe and clean disposal. 
  • Pricing: The event is free to all Shoreline residents; bring the event flier or show proof of residency.

 

  • Where/When: 6 p.m. Fri, Sept 30 at Food Lifeline ’s Seattle Distribution Center.
  • Why Go: Leave your heels at home, grab a date and Food Lifeline for its first annual fundraiser in the warehouse. This casual and entertaining evening offers a rare chance to see inside Food Lifeline’s warehouse while kicking back with a local eats and drinks, and dancing the night away.
  • Cost: $75 per person.

 

  • Where/When:  8 p.m. on Friday, 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Saturday at SiS Produtions in Seattle.
  • Why Go: SiS Productions presents the Northwest premiere of Michael Golamco’s YEAR ZERO. Year Zero is an American story of young Asians trying to find their place in life while still dealing with the legacy their parents left behind. 
  • Cost: Tickets range between $12 and $15.
