  • Why Go: Join the Edmonds Public Schools Foundation for the third annual Edmonds Street Strut 5K Walk/Run this Saturday. This year's event is in honor of beloved Madrona PE teacher, GayLynne Ullerich, who was a devoted champion of kids' health and fitness. New to the event this year is a kids' 1K for ages 8 and under. Participants in the 5K (3.1 mile) run/walk include hard-core runners, families pushing strollers and even some four-legged friends, all enjoying the route that covers the scenic city streets of Edmonds.
