  • Where/When: 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday at .
  • Why Go: The Shorecrest Hip Hop team will be hosting two nights of professional dancing featuring companies from all over the northwest. The two nights will feature the best of hip hop, salsa, jazz, tap, modern, lyrical, and more. By attending this event you'll be helping the Shorecrest Hip Hop team raise money to compete at Nationals in 2012.
  • Cost: Presale Tickets $15 (Purchased before Oct 21). Tickets at the door are $18.

  • Where/When: 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Sun, Oct. 23 at .
  • Why Go: Join the Shoreline Fire Department for an open house of their facility. The Open House will include a fire suppression, emergency, medical and rescue demonstrations. Don't forget to bring your camera!
  • Pricing: Free.

 

 

  • Where/When: 6 p.m. on Fri, Oct. 21 at .
  • Why Go: Join the City of Shoreline for its annual Hamlin Halloween Haunt this Friday night.  Listen to spooky songs and stories as you toast marshmallows around a campfire, ride the hay wagon, play Halloween games, have your face painted and get your picture taken.
  • Cost: This is a free event. Come in costume! Dress warm and bring a flashlight. Come rain or shine!

 

  

  • Where/When: 10 a.m. on Sat, Oct. 22 at .
  • Why Go: Come to the Shoreline Cooperative Preschool this Saturday for it's 24th Annual Halloween Carnival and Silent Auction. The kids carnival will have something for everyone, be sure to dress in costume and to bring some friends! The silent auction will feature over valiuble 100 items including train rides, games, and more. Other activities include a bake sale, food and inflatable obstacle course. 
  • Cost: Free entry, small fee for games. Great for kids ages 1-8.

 

  • Where/When: 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Sun, Oct. 23 at the Cedar Valley Grange in Lynnwood
  • Why Go:   The Annual STFS Fruit Tasting Festival is back! Come and take part in talks on history, pollination, disease and pest resistance of various fruit trees grown in this area. You'll also get to taste fruit products, such as jams and preserves. Other activities include apples sales, displays by fruit growers, and children's activities.  
  • Cost: $3 per person, $5 per family.
