  • Why Go: There's lots of live music to be had at Darrell's this weekend. Friday night is the CD Release party for Green Handshake who will be joined by Plastards and Dead Man. Then, on Saturday night enjoy the rockabilly sound of Blacktop Deceiver, Low Land High and The Hilltones.

  • Why Go: Join the City of Shoreline and Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust Volunteers in improving one of Lake Forest Park's local parks acquired with the 2006 Parks Bond funds. Volunteers will be helping with the remove invasive species and plant native trees and shrubs to help return identified areas to a more natural state.

  • Where/When: 12:30 p.m. on Fri, Nov. 4 in the Black Box Theatre at .
  • Why Go: As part of Edmonds CC's Fall Lecture searies the college welcomes Dr. T. Alan Hurwitz as he leads a lecture on "Serving the Deaf Community and People Hard of Hearing in the 21st Century".  Dr. Hurwits is the President of Gallaudet University, the world’s only university in which all programs and services are specifically designed to accommodate deaf and hard of hearing students.
  • Cost: This event is free and open to the public. 

  • Where/When: Tuesday through Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. at the Everett Performing Arts Center.
  • Why Go: Take Me America is a gripping new musical from The Village Theatre about those who seek asylum in the United States, and the people who bear the responsibility of determining their fate. Check out this preview of the production so you'll know what you're in for.
  • Cost: Tickets range from $20 to $56.

  • Where/When: 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Sat, Nov. 5 at .
  • Why Go: The World Famous Popovich Comedy Pet Theater is bring their family-oriented blend of the comedy, juggling, and performing pets to the ECA this Saturday. Audiences will be delighted to see this extravaganza of European-style clowns, amazing juggling and balancing acts, and of course, very talented performing pets.
  • Cost: Ticket prices are $30 for adults and $22 for youths (17 and under).
