  • Where/When: 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at .
  • Why Go: Join the drama students at Shoreline Community College as they present The Eight Reindeer Monologues, a series of dark and hilarious monologues written by Jeff Goode and directed by SCC student, Klae Bainter. Can't make it this weekend? Be sure to check it out next week as the production runs through the Nov. 19.
  • Cost: Tickets are $7.

  • Where/When: 2 p.m. on Fri, Nov. 11 at .
  • Why Go: All veterans of any U.S. military service, regardless of the duration of their service, are invited to attend this special Veteran's Day event along with family and friends. Music will be provided by Shorecrest High School before the program. Light refreshments will be served.
  • Cost: Free.

  

  • Where/When: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Sat, Nov. 12 at .
  • Why Go: Join Earth Corps, the City of Shoreline and the Kruckeberg Botanic Garden Foundation as they restore a 1/4 acre site in Hamlin Park to help revegetate the area. Volunteers will be planting native trees and shrubs and should expect to learn native plant identification as well as proper planting techniques. Please wear sturdy footwear, dress for the weather, and bring your own water and gloves if you have them. Meet in the Hamlin Park parking lot nearest the picnic shelter, playground and restroom off 15th Ave NE & NE 160th St.
  • Cost: Free. Minors 14-18 must have waiver signed by parent. Minors under 14 are welcome with parent/guardian.

 

  • Where/When: 8 p.m. on Saturday and 2 p.m. on Sunday at in Edmonds.
  • Why Go: Join the Edmonds Driftwood Players presents a special “Staged-Reading” of the Tony Award winning play, The Normal Heat. This powerful chronicle of the beginning of AIDS crisis in 1984 New York is definitely worth the price of admission. Enjoy the show!
  • Cost: All Seats are $25  Proceeds to benefit the Seattle Lifelong AIDS Alliance.

  • Where/When: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Sat, Nov. 12 at .
  • Why Go: Every Saturday, Sky will be hosting local craft artists and artisans in their covered greenhouse. Support local craftspeople and do your holiday gift and decoration shopping in comfort right here in Shoreline!
  • Cost: Admission is free.
