Lake Forest Park Farmers Market
Where/When: 11 a.m-4p.m., Sundays, 17171 Bothell Way NE, Lake Forest Park, WA 98155 (Lake Forest Park Towne Centre)
Why go: Organized by Friends of Third Place Commons the LFP Farmers Market is on rain or shine, and features dozens of vendors selling everything from produce, flowers, plants, candy, barbecue sauce, meat, Asian sauces, as well as food and drink.

India Day
Where/When: 11:15 a.m. at Kane Hall, University of Washington campus.
Why go: Celebrate India’s 65th Independence Day by experiencing its ethnic heritage. In collaboration with the Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies at UW, enjoy culture, history, music, folk dances, arts and crafts starting.
