Despite Weather, Hot Rods Shine At Car Show

Hundreds of car enthusiasts bring out their rigs for classic car show

A light rain sprinkled on the freshly buffed chrome that decorated the hundreds of cars, bikes and motorcycles at the second annual Classic Car and Rod Show at Meridian Park Elementary School.

The event benefited the elementary school and brought car enthusiasts from throughout the area, as well as local television personality and children's show host J.P. Patches.

Fresh from a night patrol, Seattle Police Officer Jim Ritter attended the event to show off a police cruiser from 1970.
