Cold, Snowy Weather to Continue Through Wednesday

Scattered snow showers Monday, more accumulation likely Monday night and Tuesday; up to 3-5 inches on Wednesday

The National Weather Service has issued a special weather statement for the next few days as cold air combined with precipitation in the form of snow descends on the Puget Sound area including Shoreline and Lake Forest Park. 

Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 27. Northwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm. 

M.L.King Day: Scattered snow showers after 10am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 35. South wind between 5 and 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible. 

Monday Night: Snow showers. Steady temperature around 34. South southwest wind between 6 and 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible. 

Tuesday: Snow showers. High near 35. South southwest wind around 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible. 

Tuesday Night: Snow. Low around 27. North northeast wind around 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible. 

Wednesday: Snow. High near 35. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible. 

Wednesday Night: Snow before 10pm, then rain. Snow level rising to 2000 feet. Low around 35. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
