Christmas Power Outages Pepper Shoreline and LFP

Most power restored by this evening but some areas still without power

A large swath of homes in Shoreline and Lake Forest Park lost power on Christmas Day because of high wind, but most had power restored by tonight.

The Seattle Times reported than 18,000 Seattle City Light customers lost power by 1 p.m.

Most of the customers who lost power lived in Shoreline and Lake Forest Park north of Seattle as well as some in south King County.

By 5 p.m., most people had power again, except 3,650 customers, most of them north of Seattle, the Times reported.
