Shoreline Community College Women's Soccer Shuts Out Green River Community College 3-0

Shoreline Community College Women’s Soccer team defeated Green River Community College in Auburn today 3-0.  The Dolphins are on a strong push as playoffs are coming up soon. This is the second win over Green River CC this week per an earlier cancellation.

The Dolphins came out strong today against Green River. Elle Blume played forward for the first time for the Dolphins today and proved to have provided added energy to the team as she contributed two assists. The first of which was converted on a great finish by Angela Celedon in the 38th minute of the game.

The second goal of the game came from one of Shoreline’s aggressive mid-fielders Kayla Browne and was assisted by Kendra Holley. Browne scored again later giving Blume her second assist of the day. Although the goals came frequently to Shoreline today it was not the same case for Green River. Lauren Schoonover was able to put another shutout in the record books.
