SCC Names Yassar Khan and Shota Murai As Co-Men's Tennis Players of the Week:

Shoreline Community College On Tuesday named sophomore Yassar Khan and freshman Shota Murai, as Co-Men's Tennis Players of the Week.

Khan was undefeated for the week, winning single's matches against Spokane, Treasure Valley and the College of Idaho while winning three matches with Murai as the #1 SCC Doubles Team. 

Shota was 1-2 in singles, but his victory over the #2 player from Spokane help secure a 5-4 upset win for the Dolphins. Plus, he teamed with Khan to go 3-0 in doubles combination and revenged their only defeat of the season against the CCs of Spokane.

SCC finishes the regular season this weekend, as they face Treasure Valley on Saturday at Shoreview Park and then play the University of Washington Club Team on Sunday.
