SCC Men's Basketball Defeats Everett CC In SCC Gym

SCC Men's Basketball Defeats Everett CC In SCC Gym:

The Shoreline Community College Men's Basketball Team defeated Everett Community College in the SCC Gym on Saturday afternoon 104 to 90.

The Dolphins got down early, by 18 points in the first half (45-27), but came roaring back to trail by 5 at half-time, 49-45, and then take control down the stretch to win by 14 points.


Joshua Youngblood had a hot night of shooting, scoring 35 points and hitting 7 of 11 three point shots and 8 for 8 from the foul line. Kadeem Stewart added 22 points, Joe Dickinson 11 points and Zach Hafen scored 10 to round out the SCC double figure scoring.

SCC controlled the boards, out rebounding EVCC 63 to 49 which led to a 26 to 10 point advantage in second chance points.

Shoreline improved to 4-14 on the season and 2-6 in the NWAACC Northern Region while Everett fail to 11-10 overall and 4-4 in the region. SCC travels to Bellevue College on Wednesday to face the Bulldogs at 7:30 pm.
