Presidents' Day: What's Open, What's Closed?
Here is a brief look at what's open and closed for President's Day.
Taking a day to celebrate the birth of our nation's first president means many places will be closed or operating on irregular business hours.
Most retail stores will be open (and having sales!), and government agencies will be closed.
Shoreline City Hall is closed Monday. It will reopen Tuesday, Feb 21.

Lake Forest Park City Hall is also closed Monday.
Shoreline School District and all Shoreline Schools will be closed on Monday, and for the rest of the week for mid-winter break.

Shoreline Community College is closed Monday for the holiday.
Dale Turner YMCA will be operating on regular business hours.
Spartan Recreation Center and Shoreline Pool are closed.
King County government: Closed.
The King County Library System is closed Monday.
King County Metro: Holiday schedule. Click here to see how your route is affected.
King County Transfer Stations (AKA King County Solid Waste Division): Open regular hours.
Shopping Centers: Many stores and restaurants keep different holiday hours from the main shopping centers, so check with an individual store for exact hours. The Aurora Village Costco will be open.
State of Washington: Closed.
Most state liquor stores will be open on Monday. The liquor store, located at 15230 Aurora Ave. N., will be closed.
Washington State Ferries: All routes will operate on a holiday schedule.
Federal government (including the U.S. Postal Service): Closed
Banks: Many, if not most, will be closed. Check your local branch.
Garbage and Recycling: Garbage and recycling will be on its regular schedule in Shoreline.
