Point Wells Victory for Shoreline

Save Richmond Beach and Woodway win in court against Point Wells developers

The crowd erupted in cheers today after King County Superior Court Judge Dean Lum granted Save Richmond Beach and the town of Woodway’s request for summary judgment and granted the injunction against Blue Square Real Estate (BSRE).

“We have a reason to be thankful,” one spectator said of the judgment on the eve of Thanksgiving.

Lum ruled that BSRE’s application for the Point Wells development was not vested and Snohomish County is enjoined from processing the application. While this does not put an end to the case, it is a victory for the people of Woodway and Shoreline.
