Gay Cozy? 'Christmas Carol Murders' on Tap at Third Place Books

Author Christopher Lloyd will be selling copies.

Oregon native and Portland resident Christpher Lord will be signing copies of his novel The Christmas Carol Murders tonight at 7 at Third Place Books, 17171 Bothell Way NE, Lake Forest Park.

Athough the title sounds gruesome, we're assured that this is the first of an exciting new cozy mystery series set in Dickens Junction, OR.

It's said to combine the atmosphere of a classic Agatha Christie puzzle, the deft touch of Charlotte MacLeod, a hint of Oscar Wilde’s humor and the literary spirit of the great Charles Dickens.

Oh, and the main protagonist is gay.

The paperback is $13.95. The e-book is $2.95, but we're not sure how Lord will be able to sign that for you.
