Garden Tour and Plant Sale at LFP Town Center

Twenty-five vendors will be selling plants at the LFP Garden Tour and Plant Sale.

Twenty-five garden vendors will be gathered in the lower level of the Lake Forest Park Town Center for a garden tour and plant sale, Saturday, June 16.

Fifteen nurseries, as well as landscapers and growers from around the area, will have plants for sale. Sunquist Nursery will be bringing a truck full of plants that thrive here.

In attendance will be growers who specialize in drought tolerant plants, ferns, and other shade plants—from showy peonies, and orchids to fox glove and bluebells.

"Succulents ready to calf, hydrangeas and vines, perennials and annuals, tomato starts, all will be filling the place," said an organizer of the event.

Ciscoe Morris will be broadcasting his radio show live from 10 a.m. to noon, before potting a few plants, which will be raffled off at 4 p.m.
