Brown's Makes Final Exit Today, But You Can Still Get the Coffee Online and Locally

North City Jazz Walk was final hurrah

After opening for a one-night reprise for the North City Jazz Walk, the final trucks will pull out of Brown's Coffee in North City this afternoon.

But even though you can no longer enjoy the coffee in the shop, owner Neal Brown is still going to roast and sell it.

"I'm resigned (happily) to a more non-public roasting career," said Brown, who is calling it quits to spend more time with his family. "People can get my coffee online atΒ www.brownscoffee.com.Β Some of the local places you can get my joe are: The Crest (and all Landmark Cinemas), Club Java drive-thru just east of the family fun center (you know, it used to be called Funtasia) on 220th Street in Mountlake Terrace. Occasionally at the Thriftway on Ballinger Way in the whole bean section, and Cafe Allegro in the U-District (I've been their roaster since '04, they are Seattle's original espresso bar since 1975)."
