Shoreline Residents Awarded 2012 heART Award
Karen and John Thielke, long-time Shoreline residents, were recently honored
Karen and John Thielke, long-time Shoreline residents, were recently honored with the 2012 heART Award for their exceptional voluntary service.
Each year, the Shoreline-Lake Forest Park Arts Council’s Board of Directors selects honorees who are dedicated to bringing arts and creative experiences to the community.
The Thielkes have given countless hours to the Arts Council and the community as a whole. Karen has worked with the Readers Theater programs, volunteered at a multitude of events and served on past Board of Directors and as a Board officer. John has volunteered for many Arts Festivals, worked in the Arts in Culture programs, and run the accounting activities and data base program for many Gala events.
