City of Shoreline Employees Art Show Open House This Thursday

There will be an open house for the gallery at Shoreline City Hall Open House on Thursday evening.

On Thursday, Feb. 9, the Shoreline-Lake Forest Park Arts Council and the City of Shoreline will be presenting a new exhibit featuring the photography of Lauren Greathouse and Betty Udesen, for the second annual City of Shoreline Employees Art Show.

Greathouse’s work from the "Hallowed Halls: Abandoned Schools of Louisiana" series is an exploration of the remnants found in vacant educational institutions around that state.

Udesen’s work from the "Teatime Series" features the wild birds in her Greenwood backyard.

The Shoreline Employee Art Show includes paintings, photographs, wood carvings and mixed media work by staff in the Administrative Services, Parks, Planning and Public Works Departments.
