Pet of the week - Tanner

Older dog, empty nesters perfect pair

From pound puppies to pure breds Patch spotlights dogs who enjoy what Shoreline/Lake Forest Park has to offer.

This week’s pet is Tanner, an 11 year old Wheaten Terrier. We first met Tanner at Richmond Beach the last weekend off-leash romping was allowed until late next fall. He was with his humans, Liz and Don of Shoreline.

Tanner came to his Shoreline home from Canada. He was at a breeder when, as a two year-old, he was put up for adoption.

Recent empty nesters Liz and Don were looking for a mature dog, already potty trained, to join their family.

It has been a perfect match.

Tanner loves the beach and strolls the shoreline about every day. At home he is a true lap-dog happy to snuggle.
