From pound puppies to purebreds Patch spotlights dogs who enjoy what Shoreline/Lake Forest Park has to offer. In the case of this week's pet, Tami, she hopes Shoreline/Lake Forest Park offers kind residents, with big hearts and warm homes.
Tami is a petite 8-pound, 8 year-old black and tan Chihuahua sweetheart. She is definitely cute as a button and she is also affectionate, loyal and ready for snuggling.
Ginger Luke's Death Row Dog Rescue found Tami when a puppy mill closed. The group rescued her, and her family.

Besides looking for forever homes for these dogs, the group also needs foster homes and donations of collars, leashes, crates and treats.
Tami is a lucky dog to be rescued. Once out of the puppy mill, she was given a total spa treatment - a warm bath, nails clipped, ears cleaned. She was dewormed and microchipped then she got her shots updated, including rabies, by a vet. Tami is perfectly healthy and ready to go to her forever home.

She is available through Ginger Luke's Death Row Dog Rescue, a 501 C 3 organization. Her adoption fee is $525 to help offset saving her out of the breeder, her care, spay and vet treatments.
