Pet of the week - Cookie

From pound puppies to pure breds Patch spotlights dogs who enjoy what Shoreline/Lake Forest Park has to offer.

This week’s pet is Cookie, a 3 year old Dachshund. We first met Cookie strolling along Richmond Beach with Rosey and Ryan the last weekend it was open as an off leash area until late next fall.

Cookie came to Rosey as a 9 month old. Her father was doing some work for a family who had the dog and really didn’t know what to do with a pet. Rosey had to teach Cookie to walk on a leash and eat proper dog food.

Now those days are over and Cookie is an obedient pup who loves squeaky toys.
