Pet of the week - Baby

Rebound rover looks for forever home

From pound puppies to purebred cats, Patch spotlights pets who enjoy what Shoreline/Lake Forest Park has to offer. For some dogs, like this week’s pet Baby, all they need is a loving and safe home.

This 9-year-old Shepherd/Lab mix pooch is on the rebound. This is her third time at a shelter. She came to Homeward Pet from another shelter when her most recent owner was moving and decided to part ways with her.

Baby is looking for a forever home, and she deserves it. She has a positive attitude and a really big doggie smile.

She is an ideal family dog. Baby adores being with people, she does well with other dogs and cats and she loves children. Baby is ready to love unconditionally and to assume her role as a cherished family pet.

At 82 pounds, she could slim down a bit. With a healthy diet and regular exercise she can do it.

More than twice the size of the current facility, the new location will allow the non profit to care for more animals and expand the veterinary clinic to provide more low-cost spay, neuter and microchip services to the community.

Homeward Pet is funded entirely through generous tax-deductible donations.
