Each week Shoreline Patch will give you picks of favorite places around town. This week we give our picks for favorite parks.

Patch Picks: Best Shoreline Parks to Visit 

  • , 19001 3rd Ave NW, Seattle, WA 98177. Located just two blocks north of Richmond Beach Drive, Hillwood Park is a quiet oasis for anyone that wants to enjoy a nice walk surrounded by a plethora of trees. The park feature’s a soccer field, baseball/softball diamond, and a children’s playground with slides and monkey bars. The Park abuts Einstein Middle School, its soccer field and seven-lane track. 
  • , 827 NE 170th St, Shoreline, WA 98155. Northcrest Park is located near the heart of Shoreline and features playgrounds and walking trails. The park is also known for its small open field for quiet picnics amongst friends and the children’s playground is perfect for the kids to expend some of their everlasting energy. Northcrest Park is open daily and leashed pets are always welcome.
  • , 700 NW Innis Arden Way, Seattle, WA 98177. Take a short stroll away from the Shoreline Community College campus and enjoy the tranquility of Shoreview Park. The park features six tennis courts, playgrounds, a baseball field with bleachers, and a off-leash area for your favorite pet. Come by and see the beautiful views of the Olympic Mountains and the Hidden Lake neighboring Boeing Creek Park.
  • , 1125 N 165th St, Shoreline, WA 98133. Come see why this park is highly regarded for its riding trails and great scenery. You will soon find out why Darnell Park has one of the best mountain bike riding trails in all of Puget Sound. The park features open space and a natural area with benches to kick back and enjoy the scenery. It’s open daily, from dusk-dawn.   
  • , 16006 15th Ave NE, Lake Forest Park, WA 98155. Hamlin Park is a facility in Lake Forest Park open daily to the public. It features a complete softball/baseball field, playground, covered picnic area and beautiful walking trails. Many residents of Shoreline specifically pick this park to visit for the grills and picnic pavilions for the whole family to enjoy. You will be amazed how family friendly this park is.
