"No Urban Center" Signs Stolen in Richmond Beach

Member of Save Richmond Beach is offering $500 reward for information that leads to a conviction

Save Richmond Beach, the activists who are opposed to the Point Wells project, are reporting that last the night approximately 60 "No Urban Center at Point Wells" signs were stolen from yards and the public right of way in Richmond Beach.

"We feel that it is immensely important to get those signs back out there as it is your right to express your opinion about the Urban Center at Point Wells," the group said in an e-mail sent out to subscribers.

Save Richmond Beach is offering replacements for $6, which it says is its cost. New signs are still being offered at the original $10. The new batch of signs will arrive next week.

"We will alert anyone who orders when and where they can pick them up," the e-mail reads.
