Labor Day: What’s Open, What’s Closed
Labor Day is Monday September 2; here is a list of what's open and closed in Shoreline and Lake Forest Park and holiday bus routes
The City of Shoreline is closed.
The City of Lake Forest Park is closed.

The King County Library System, including the Shoreline, Lake Forest Park and Richmond Beach branches are closed.
Shoreline School District: Closed. First day of school is Wednesday, Sept. 4.

The Shoreline Pool is closed.
The Dale Turner Family YMCA is closed until Monday, Sept. 9 for maintenance.
King County government: Closed.
King County Metro: Most Metro Transit service will operate on a Sunday schedule. If a route does not normally run on Sunday, there is no service on Labor Day. Sunday fares will be in effect on Metro bus routes on Labor Day.
All Metro offices will be closed on Labor Day, including the Customer Information Center phone lines. For more information about transit service, visit Metro Online.

Federal government (including the U.S. Postal Service): Closed
Banks: Many, if not most, will be closed.
Express delivery companies: FedEx and UPS will be open.
