Low-Tide Beach Walks at Richmond Beach Saltwater Park

  • Why Go: Explore and investigate the fascinating world of marine beaches at Richmond Beach Saltwater Park during low tides and observe seastars, crabs and other sealife who live in Puget Sound. The weather should be warm and dry. Waterproof footwear is recommended.

Groupo Amoroso

  • Where/When: Stage, 7:30-9:30 p.m. Saturday, July 30.
  • Why Go: This Seattle area band plays classic bossa nova, Brazilian pop and jazz. Their songs feature vocals backed with piano, guitar, bass and drum arrangements.
  • Cost: Free.

  • Where/When: , 10 a.m.-3 p.m., Sunday, July 31.
  • Why Go: This Seafair Sanctioned Community Event, features up to 300 classic and vintage cars. More than 50 trophies will be awarded in categories including, "Best Ford," "Best Chevy," "Best Motorcycle," and "Best Foreign Car." Live music from rock/blues group The Fabulous Hammers is featured along with legendary clown J.P. Patches.
  • Cost: Free. Park at Aurora Church of the Nazarene or Shoreline Children's Center. 

Young Adult Summer Books Extravaganza

  • Where/When: Third Place Commons Stage, Sunday, July 31, 4-5 p.m.
  • Why go: An exciting, unique event with six excellent local young adult authors talking about their new novels: Kimberly Derting, Lisa Schroeder, Mandy Hubbard, Suzanne Young, Eileen Cook, and Cat Patrick. Treats and prizes, too!
