Thanksgiving baskets for family shelter from Church of the Redeemer

Again in 2013, Church of the Redeemer is providing Thanksgiving baskets with all the necessary items for a complete Thanksgiving Dinner to the nine apartments at the Kenmore Family Shelter.

Thanks for your generosity in providing these families with a traditional holiday meal.

Food purchase

The sign-up sheet for the food items for the Thanksgiving baskets is posted on the Outreach bulletin board in the parish hall in the undercroft.

Non-perishable items need to be at church by Sunday, November 24.

Perishable items need to be at church by 10:00 am on Wednesday, November 27. Perishable items left in the kitchen need to be clearly marked “SHELTER.”

Basket delivery

There is a sign-up sheet for those wanting to to deliver the Thanksgiving baskets posted on the Outreach bulletin board.

Baskets will be delivered  at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, November 27.

Shelter shopping trip

Here is a heads- up: The annual Kenmore Family Shelter shopping trip is scheduled for Saturday, December 14, 2013 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. More information about this to follow.
