Quake occurred at 6:52 p.m.

A quake of magnitude 3.0 centered in Shoreline happened at 6:52 p.m. Tuesday evening, according to the Pacific Northwest Seismograph Network.

The quake's location was about 11 miles north of downtown Seattle and 8.7 miles northwest of Kirkland at coordinates 47.761 degrees north and 122.356 degrees west.

The depth of the quake was 19.87 miles.
