Sex Partner Breaks Man’s Leg, Steals Car After Fling

On Friday morning, Nov. 23, a man (the victim) shared with police that he met another man (the suspect) on the previous day at a car wash nearby North 85th Street and Greenwood Avenue in Seattle. After the victim finished vacuuming his car, he invited the suspect to hang out with him at his home in the 18000 block of 15th Avenue NE (Chateau Apartments) in Shoreline. The two men had sex. Later, the suspect used his hands, an end table and a metal toilet paper holder stand to fight with and obtain the victim’s car keys. The victim suffered a broken leg and a stolen car as a result of his encounter with suspect.

Nov. 23

VIOLATION OF COURT ORDERS: A suspect (Person A) involved themselves in a domestic disturbance with the victim (Person B) at almost 4 a.m. The two people were so loud that neighbors were able to hear their differences in the 17000 block of NE 145th Street (Paramount House.) Person A was arrested for violating a “no contact order” and booked into Snohomish County Jail. Person B was involuntarily committed and sent to the hospital by ambulance.

FRAUD: A woman in the 16000 block of Wallingford Avenue told police that a phone scam conned her mother out of her mom’s money. 

VEHICLE PROWL: A victim in the 19800 block of Sunnyside Drive (Ballinger Commons) left his/her car doors unlocked and discovered that a suspect rummaged through the vehicle. It appears that nothing was taken.

VANDALISM at BALLINGER LIQUOR STORE: A suspect(s) cut the cable line to the liquor store (20154 Ballinger Way) to make the alarm inoperable. Police believe the suspects were preparing to engage in a commercial burglary.

MAIL THEFT: A culprit(s) broke a lock on a mailbox door in the 15400 block of Linden Ave North.

IDENTITY THEFT: A business called Biomoles in the 17900 block of Midvale Avenue North told police that a business check card was stolen and used without authorization. 

DRUNKENNESS: A subject was found highly intoxicated in the 18500 block of Firlands Way North.

DRUNKENNESS at LAKEHOUSE APTS: A very drunk man showed up unannounced at his mother’s apartment before 10:30 p.m. The son and mom were involved in a domestic disturbance in the 1300 block of N 200th Street. Eventually, the son was sent to Northwest Hospital to detoxify.

Nov. 24

DRUG OVERDOSE: A man in the 18800 block of Fremont Avenue North overdosed on heroin and was transported to NW Hospital close to 1 a.m.

PASSED OUT ON DRIVEWAY: A person in the 14700 block of 26th Avenue NE was taken to the hospital to detoxify after he/she was found extremely drunk and passed out in the driveway of the home. This report was filed at approximately 5:40 a.m.

LARCENY: A culprit broke a car window in the 15400 block of Bagley Place North to steal a purse sometime during the night.

LARCENY: A man who works for Dimensional Communications called police to report that someone stole items from his work van. The report was taken in the 17900 block of 10th Avenue NE.

TWO DEATHS: The following deaths are under investigation

• deceased female in the 16000 block of Interlake Avenue North
• a victim in the 18000 block of Burke Avenue North was found dead by a housemate

INDECENT COMMUNICATION: A victim in the 200 block of NE 180th Street receives unwanted texts from a suspect.

FELONY, CRIMINAL WARRANT: A subject in the 16200 block of 14th Avenue NE was arrested for residential burglary. According to police, the subject “did not go quietly.”
